Whether you're into the military or not, you've probably heard of the Arab Spring. It was actually a successful revolution, which saw the end of civil war in Syria. You will often find a study about the subject at your local library. This is especially true for those in the healthcare industry.

A study of Northern Tunisia, which is quite similar to the States, compares the pre versus post revolution tally for homicides and suicide. According to the aforementioned study, the number of homicides in Northern Tunisia was 1.8 per 100,000 people per year, but that number skyrocketed to 3.12 per 100,000 people per year after the aforementioned revolution. The number of suicides rose by 1.7 times since the revolution. This is a statistically significant change and is concerning not only for the government, it is also concerning for the country’s youth. Due to both increasing rates of death, healthcare systems across the nation will need to adapt to meet these challenges.
