German Tanks in World War II

The Germans created many tanks to combat the British during World War II. These include the Jagdtiger (or Panzer III), and the Panzer II Flamm (or Panzer II Flamm). Many of these tanks were highly successful, and the Germans quickly began working on new projects. More than a thousand tanks were in the German arsenal at the close of World War II.

Panzer IV

Panzer IV, a German tank, was used in World War II. It was meant to be an enemy threat against anti-tank guns as well as machine guns. The tank came with high-explosive weapons that could be used to damage any object within the blast radius.

Panzer III

Panzer III was an iconic German tank that served in World War II. It was a light tank that featured a high-profile, armor-rated hull. It could counter Allied tanks thanks to its offset front hull armour. The M model featured improved hull armor, with a five-mm plate on the top and a lower one on the bottom. It served a dual purpose and was used extensively on the Eastern Front. The M model was also retrofitted as a heavy battle tank, the Tiger I. It was also used for tank-hunting purposes.

Panzer II Flamm

Panzer II Flamm was an American tank built by the German Army in 1930s. It weighed in at around 12 tons and featured a turret equipped with a rotating MG 34 gun. The crew was made up of three men and had armor protection of 30 mm. It also had two flamethrowers mounted at each corner of the tank. It weighed in at around 12 tons and had a fuel tank that held 160 liters. The engine produced 140 horsepower and was powered by the Maybach HL62TRM six cylinder engine.

Flammpanzer II was a German tank intended to set fire to enemy bunkers. Before the Second World War, the German Army Headquarters ordered the project. Daimler-Benz was given the job of developing the tank. Daimler-Benz completed the prototype in July 1939. The tank's main turret was made out of soft steel. It was equipped at 180 degrees with two flamethrowers.

The Panzer II Flamm Ausf B German tank was a heavy tank that was designed and manufactured by the German Army. The tank was equipped with a turret which was placed on top the hull. It proved to be very effective against infantry. This tank could move fast and had lots of firepower. The Ausf C tank had a similar turret, but its suspension was much more sophisticated. Although the tank's height was low, the hull of this tank was longer and wider. It was manufactured by MAN, Daimler-Benz.

Bruckenleger IV

The Bruckenleger IV German tank was used in World War II. The crew modified the tank to improve its fighting capabilities. In particular, the crew replaced it with a 5 cm PaK38 anti-tank gun.

Panzer III Ausf C

The German Panzer III is an antique tank that has served in service since the first decade of the 21st century. Its turret & hull are protected by thick armour, which varies widely in thickness. Panzer III Ausf. The A-through C tanks were outfitted with 15 mm frontal and 10 mm tank armour. All sides of the hull were protected by 30mm face-hardened stainless steel.

Panzer III Ausf D

Panzer III Ausf D is a German tank that served during World War II. Although it was a prototype tank, it was in service for only a short time. However, it was vital in training Panzer crews as well as helping Germany to gain valuable tank design experience. It was also manufactured by an underdeveloped German industrial sector, which helped pave a way for future Panzer developments.
