The Shenyang J-11 Fighter

drones definition

The Swedish Air Force needed more air defense during World War II. They purchased Italian fighters such as the Fiat C.R.42, which was later renamed the J-11. The aircraft was mostly used as a fighter but it was also possible for it to be used as either a scout/recon or reconnaissance vehicle.

Shenyang Aircraft Corporation developed the Shenyang J-11, which was contracted by China to make jet fighters for its border. The aircraft's airframe was based on the Soviet-designed Sukhoi Su-27 air superiority fighter. China licensed the J-11 design of the Su-27SK from China. After the contract expired the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation began manufacturing the J-11s.

The J-11 includes a glass cockpit with a digital control system, a colour multifunctional display, a color multifunctional display, a heads-up display, emergency situations warning equipment, and a headup display. It also includes an autonomous multifunctional pulse Doppler radar and an attitude and heading reference system. Two 12.7mm Akan M/40 machine guns are included in the aircraft. It features a flight data recording system (FIRS), as well as an attitude and heading system (AGRS). It can take one pilot.

The J-11's top speed is very high. It is also capable of a long climb, making it difficult for other biplanes to challenge it. You can equip it to carry advanced air-to-air missiles, like PL-10. The J-11 has a TS101M chip, which can track up to 10 targets simultaneously. It includes an IFF system-interrogator, a helmet-mounted sight, and a head-up display.

People's Liberation Army Air Force's (PLAAF), operates the J-11. The J-11B upgraded version of J-11B comes equipped with a Chinese made WS-10A "Taihang” turbofan. This aircraft's battle rating is 1.7 (AB). The J-11B was also used for testing the WS-10. CCTV-7, a state TV station, aired footages of J-11B between 2007 and 2008.

The J-11B is the first J-11 to be equipped with Chinese hardware. Chinese web sources claim that electronics such as radar and the avionics of the aircraft are Chinese. Reports also claim that the engines of the aircraft are made in China. China has not yet incorporated an AESA radar into its J-11.

The J-11 features a very powerful landing brake which can be softened to prevent crashes. The J-11's heavy steel structure means it can travel at high speeds. The J11's nose might overshoot because of its powerful engine. The J-11 can outrun any biplane at its rank.

next generation military technology news

The Chinese military has been looking for a replacement to its fourth-generation fighters. The J-20 was an option but it is unpredictable and costly. The J-11D will be a complement to J-20 for many decades. It is expected that it will integrate an active electronically scanned radar (AESA), which is a miniaturized electronic scanner array. It will also have composite materials for the wings and tail. The J-11D will be fitted with radar absorbent coatings.
